I promised her that if she fell asleep hugging her doggy pillow pet I would take a picture so that she could see.

Ready to walk down to the parade.  We always park in front of Grama J's old house.

Spending the day at the cabin.  It was a little cold to be in the river so the kids made up for it by having a hula hoop competition.

Trent had a half day on Friday so we went on a fun lunch date and then ran some boring errands.

Walking home from the bus stop on a dreary day.  This is all I could see coming up the road.

Spending the day at Camp Pendalouan with Evan.  They were playing a game where he had to pretend to be  a deer sneaking through the woods.

Spencer playing out his part in his last multiage musical.   It seems like yesterday he was just a little first grader singing in the front row.

Does it get any better than running through the sprinkler on a hot day?  Judging by these faces, I don't think so.

Spencer and Dad were at an overnight camping trip so Grama took the rest of us to dinner at the Cherokee. The kids were promised pennies for the "river" if they were good - the laughing looks are because one of the pennies landed on the ledge instead of in the water.

Walking home from school after Field Day.  A stop at the mini mart for Slurpees was a must.

Another beautiful day for a walk to the beach after school.  I was in the right place at the right time to get this shot.  Evan had just thrown a piece of driftwood into the water and gave it a salute as it floated out to sea.

Evan's birthday party at The Lost City in Holland.  He would have stood there and played that extreme hunting game all day long.

I went into school to help the fifth graders with the pig heart and lungs disection.   Spencer had a little trouble getting into it at first (the previous two days of queasiness didn't help) but by the end of the two hours was disecting with the best of them.

Spencer's second day being home with a barfy stomach.  I hate when my kids are sick.

A baseball game on his birthday.  This boy scored two runs and had the hit that brought in the winning run.  Throw in some ice cream sandwiches for your team and you have a great night!

Today was Hailey's day to bring home the class sharing assignment.  She had to bring George everywhere she went and then write about his adventures.  George even got to go to soccer practice with her.

We spent all day today working in the backyard to get rid of the leaves from last fall.  Worst job ever!

This is a photo of a little girl with a Slurpee in her future.  She scored her first goal.  She kicked it off the center line right into the net!

The Phillies lost, but this kid got two base hits and a double.  And he brought a runner home with one of his hits.
