Isn't this what having a little girl is all about?

A two hour delay this morning because of all the wet, slushy snow that fell overnight.  The perfect kind of snow for a snowman.

Evan's math teacher sent home a packet of advanced math problems that he could work on for "fun".  Since I really don't find math to be that much fun, he needs his go to math major Daddy to help him out.

Evan came home from school today with a mission.  He immediately got out paper, crayons, scissors and a stapler and went to work making some body armour for Laddie.  I love this kid so much.

Spencer's smiley face pajama pants.  I think he is trying to set a world's record for most worn pants or trying to wear pants the longest.  Most days he wears these things to school under his clothes!  He crabs so much when I make him take them off so that I can wash the darn things.  Are all tween boys so oblivious to hygiene?

After about a week of wiggling, Hailey lost her first tooth this morning.  It happened to be a snow day today so she was laying in bed with us and announced at about six in the morning "MOM!  My tooth came out!"

Evan doing a little "Final Countdown" in his karate class.  My favorite part of class to watch is when the instructor plays that or "Eye of the Tiger" or "Kung Fu Fighting" and the kids get to go karate crazy!

Evan my always imaginative and crafty son, wanted to learn to sew.  He made a pillow and a blanket for his stuffed dog Laddie with just a little help from me.

The boys being silly in the craft store today.  Those letters are HUGE!  I could never carry a letter that big!

The kids duds.  This is what every morning looks like before we head to the bus.   Backpacks.  Coats. Snowpants.  Lunch cases. Water bottles. Hats. Mittens. Boots.

Most days after school include the boys staring at the computer screen playing or watching videos of people playing Minecraft.

Evan's request for dinner was burgers on the grill.  He couldn't wait to get his hands in the beef and start mixing.

The kids took advantage of our piles of snow and made a fort with the help of Daddy.  I told them they better play in it a lot today since tomorrow it is supposed to be forty degrees and rainy.

I had to bring Hailey to the hospital today to have her fitted with a holter monitor.  She has to wear it for 24 hours.   She is a trooper as long as there are no needles involved.

I made loaded baked potatoes for dinner tonight.  Nothing beats walking into your house to the smell of bacon.

This was Evan's drawing he turned in for a Red Cross contest.  It was a lobster taking blood from fish.  He is so creative.

The boy is starting to EAT.  This was his lunch today.  A leftover sloppy joe from the other night and a sandwich he invented with leftover bacon, pepperoni and cheese.   He was very proud of himself.  He even took a picture of it with his itouch.

At her six year old well check, Hailey was overjoyed to hear that she wouldn't have to get any shots that day.
