I have been reading this aloud to the kids every night before bed.  Hailey might be a little young to understand a lot of it, but Evan is mesmerized by the tales of the pioneer life.  I love it.

I took this while sitting at the car at the kids' school.  I was hoping it would slow down a bit so I could run in for conferences.  This has been the view pretty much all week and I know April showers bring May flowers, but it would be nice to see the sun or at least dry pavement.

Two things that are currently driving me crazy.  This giant cardboard shark that needs to be painted so it can be hung on the wall and leave the kitchen table and the cat that has taken up residence in its jaws.

This is the time I am in bed and ready to go to sleep on a Friday night.  Yes, I am officially old!  Our weeks just wipe me out - by the time Friday comes around I am ready to sleep!
