Hailey had been talking for weeks about a slumber party with her cousins.   It went pretty well except for the fact that she wakes up about two hours earlier than everyone else in the house.

After school we went to pick up Spencer's new glasses.  I can't get over how adorable he looks.  Heartbreaker.

One of my favorite things that the school does for March reading month is the One school, one book project.  This year the book is The BFG and the kids are loving it.  The principal requested a picture of the family reading tonight.

Saturday afternoon at the Pinewood Derby.  I told the boys they most likely wouldn't win a trophy unless it was for decoration (which they both did).  I was thrilled to catch Evan's reaction when he car made it down the track in first place for one of the heats.

Mother and Son night at the hockey game.  Spencer decided to skip it this year in favor of working back stage at the play.  Evan loved it through the first period then got pretty tired.  Quote of the night "Why do these games just have to last so long?"

Opening night of Little Shop of Horrors.  The kids loved the man eating plant Audrey 2 and Hailey loved getting dressy with the "big girls".

An evening where Daddy is actually home before dark!  Hailey took every advantage of it and resumed their ongoing game of "Hailey-low".

One of my favorite things to hear at night is Evan up in his bed talking to his stuffies.  I tried to sneak up on him, so he is pretty hard to see.

Hailey and Spencer went with Daddy to play practice on Sunday night.  After a day full of hanging around with actors and then a day of school - Somebunny is pretty wiped out!  I wondered why she was being so quiet for a change.

Look what that naughty leprechaun did!  Daddy said all he could hear as Hailey discovered footprints and finally the toilet water was "OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH!"  The hours of scrubbing green prints from the tile will be worth it.

She was determined to get her second loose tooth out this night so that the tooth fairy and leprechaun could be in our house at the same time.  She wiggled and wiggled and finally - "Tooth Ripper!" - she got it!

Getting ready for the Father and Daughter dance at the school.  She was such a trooper during her primping and she loved every minute of it.

I pulled this out of Spencer's back pack and couldn't stop laughing.  I love that everything is still about cats and I love how his teacher responds back.  What a funny kid.

I made jello for a treat the night before and had one left over.  I told the kids it would be a reward for whoever came home from school and got started right away on their homework and chores.  Of course Evan was the only one who remembered and reaped the reward.

By the end of the week we are all exhausted.  Hailey wasn't home for five minutes before she changed into her pajamas and got her comfy stuff out.

Evan was still feeling crappy this morning so I called to get him in to see the doctor.  The doctor walked in the room and confirmed that he had strep.  I am so glad I brought him in.  He just didn't seem that sick so I hesitated bringing him the day before.

On Saturday we got to attend Disney on Ice with Melinda, Ian and Ashley.  It was an awesome show and made us all want to go back to DisneyWorld.   Those Disney people know how to put on a show.
